Al Ha’Nissim
(Purim, Chanukah, Yom Ha’Atzmaut, Yom Yerushalayim)
The text is from the introduction to the prayer Al Ha’Nissim. The prayer begins in the arch with Al ha’Nissim v’al ha’purkan (For the miracles, and for the salvation, …) continues alongside Purim and Chanukah with Bayamim hahem (in those days), and concludes next to Yom Ha’Atzmaut and Yom Yerushalayim with bazman ha’ze (at this time).
Rosh Hashanah
The text in the arch is from Bamidbar 29:1: Yom teruah yehiye lachem (it is the day of the blowing of the horn for you). In the upper window there appears the titles of the three major sections of the holiday’s mussaf prayer: malchuyot (kingship), zichronot (remembrance), and shofarot (shofar blasts).
